Publications and web service

Tapio produces publications for forest professionals and provides advices to forest owners. Its web service www.metsavastaa.net offers comprehensive information on forestry to forest professionals, forest owners, and the public at large.

Training

Tapio offers open training and training targeted to individual customers, from one-day courses to training modules lasting several months. Open training brings together forest professionals working for different businesses and other employers. According to customer feedback, this has generated fruitful debate and supports the training itself.

Data systems

Tapio develops and maintains customer data systems for forestry centres. One of the projects we are currently working on is the development of a new generation forest management planning system.

Tree seeds

Tapio Seed Centre produces seeds for forest sowing and nurseries in Finland. In addition to a wide and high-quality selection of seeds, the Seed Centre provides up-to-date expert assistance.
