Forests are very important for Finland since they are a source of income and welfare for the Finns. Therefore, we tend the forests well and make versatile use of them.
Forest Management Practice Recommendations present the principles and methods applied in connection with the sustainable forestry practised in Finland’s commercial forests. Forestry Development Centre Tapio is the body responsible for the recommendations.
